Matteo Sposato

Matteo is an ecological economist working at the International Land Coalition, where he contributes in two areas: in the EMENA region (Europe Middle East and North Africa), by acting as focal point for national multi-stakeholder platforms led by local organisations to promote positive changes in land governance; and in the Knowledge and Research team, by leveraging the experience of ILC’s vast network to produce knowledge and evidence in support of people-centred land governance. Previously, he worked in research institutes in Scotland on themes related to the values of ecosystem services and to social aspects of ecosystem restoration.
