Marie Kvarnström

Marie Kvarnström is senior officer of the Swedish Biodiversity Centre and works with research and advice within the field of traditional ecological knowledge and societal transformation. She has worked with the national Swedish implementation of articles 8(j) and 10(c) of the Convention on Biological Diversity for the past 20 years, i.e. how to acknowledge and strengthen the use of local and traditional knowledge and sustainable customary use of biological diversity for more sustainable societies.
