Anabel Cepas Gil

Anabel is a lawyer responsible for providing environmental legal advice to the members of the Xarxa per a la Conservació de la Natura (XCN).

The XCN is a second-level NGO in Catalonia, Spain, with over 200 member organizations. It aims to promote nature conservation through social engagement strategies, such as land stewardship and volunteering.

Anabel works on researching and disseminating knowledge about land stewardship and promoting its practical application among private and public stakeholders. She is also involved in XCN’s political advocacy activities and supports various projects carried out by the organization. One of the most recent projects she has contributed to is the creation of the first Catalan private landowners’ association focused on nature protection and the sustainable use of natural resources, Propietats per a la Conservació de la Natura (PCNatura).
